He likes anything with meat... and I'm pretty much the opposite.

So any recipes will work, and I guess mostly fish as it's a happy medium.

Fish is a good common ground. It is a dish my people eat the most. I suggest salted salmon with lightly fried tofu on the side and rice. It is simple, but can be eaten in great quantity.

Ace would never go for tofu, but I suppose I could cook some other meat for him with that. Sounds good, eh?

--! O-oh, yes, ah...well, I enjoy the traditional foods from my home country. They are comforting, I suppose. Salted salmon, rice, tea, ochazuke...miso soup.

...Hot...pot? I cannot remember the word America-san uses. Many things cooked in broth and shared together. It is a cultural experience to share nabe with friends and family, deepening bonds.

...And yes. Salted salmon is a staple of my people's diets. With rice. And pickled vegetables.
